Producer, Editor
I teamed up with Wesleyan anthropology Professor Dr. Joseph Russo to introduce rigorous academic research to short-form cultural critiques of subcultures, consumption, and sexuality. But theory is a snoozefest as-is, so I established a cheeky TOV through creative post-production and performance direction to grab attention and encourage engagement. In under a month, we built a dedicated 5k+ following and got 750k+ views cross-platform.

The style-conscious Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu fighter has been left with few options: rashguards are either functional yet boring, or garish and covered in cheesy slogans. I started Hard Pass to embrace the design possibilties of dye-sublimated printing and provide an alternative for the upcoming generation of diverse fighters.
